Comments about Reunion Blues Continental Stick Sling:
I live out of my stick bag on the gig. This bag is loaded with features I don't need, but very light on storage space. Especially for such a bulky bag. I don't need a blue quilted interior. Once the inside comes in contact w burred sticks it will get pulled and snagged easily. There is no way of separating brushes or mallets. It relies mostly on criss-crossed elastic straps to do most of the stick holding. The actual inside pockets only cover, roughly, the bottom 4th of the stick. The pockets have an angled top so that they are even shorter closer to the spine of the bag. If the elastic fails or becomes lose your sticks will not be secure. Lastly, the only storage on this bag is a one zipper compartment that opens lengthwise. This means that if the bag is upright any contents would spill out. A very small zipper pocket made of mesh is also inside the compartment. This would snag and pull easily. Outside construction is substantial but bulky. It's made with a ballistic grade nylon and lots of padding. Thing is, I don't plan on carrying my sticks into combat. I would, however, like a place to put my wallet, phone, and keys. I bought this on faith alone in RB quality as no pics of the interior or back were posted anywhere. All that said, if you just need to carry your sticks and a very few accessories, and expect to be in a war zone, than this is your bag.
