I have been looking for a bag for a long time that would work as a backpack when I ride my motorcycle. Most bags with backpack straps have them attached too high so the bag hits the seat and rides way up when seated on a bike. This bag has the straps much lower so it works. To test this, just sit on a bench or something similar with the bag you are considering on your back and you will see what I mean. I saw the Summit bag some time ago and thought I'd found my solution, but alas, they are discontinued and seem impossible to find. This RB bag seems to be made even better, though. The padding is amazing. Also, it will accomodate a 16 1/2" lower bout, which means that my jumbo fits in it. I have found no other bag that will accommodate a jumbo, so this is a big deal for me. So I made my decision because of these key features. But the overall quality is outstanding. Also, I watched the video on their website of a Strat surviving a fall from a three story rooftop - twice! Quite impressive!
