Comments about Remo Vintage Emperor Clear Drumhead:

These heads sound awesome on my ddrum Reflex 6-piece! Rack toms are bright, full of attack, and have a beautiful resonance; floor toms are deep, punchy, and also resonate beautifully. Coming from Evans EC2s, I was pleasantly surprised with how little overtones were present. Quite versatile, too; I can't think of a genre of music these heads wouldn't sound great for. I love playing these!

Comments about Remo Vintage Emperor Clear Drumhead:

I have been using Evans head since the start of my drumming life. I just wanted to give these heads a try since I could get a good tone of what I wanted from the other products. Once I put these heads on they improved my toms so much. If you are looking for tom heads I recommend using these for the top/bottom

Ran across these accidentally and am glad I did. I play other brands but these sound best on Bubinga.

Comments about Remo Vintage Emperor Clear Drumhead:

At first, I had a love affair with these heads, they were great. But after just a couple practices, they start to sound like your hitting plastic. No warmth, no body. Don't get me wrong, when you put these heads on, they are great, just don't expect more then a few days of good sound from them.

Comments about Remo Vintage Emperor Clear Drumhead:

If you like a regular clear emperor on your toms, you'll love this head. This head has slightly more attack with an enhanced low end. It's just a bit more controlled sounding than the regular emperor, which is great for recording or mic'ing your toms live without any muffling. It sounds just as big and powerful as the regular clear emperor, just a fraction less resonant due to the extra thickness of the head. Really durable and great for getting that rock tom sound with nice attack and rich low end. They're my go to tom head from here on out. Highly recommended!

Comments about Remo Vintage Emperor Clear Drumhead:

Wow, what a great rock drum head. I usually use regular clear emperors on my toms but wanted to give these a try after hearing some good things. These heads rock! They have just a tad less sustain than a regular clear emp, but more midrange punch and low end with a nice attack. A really sweet resonant tone that's just right for rock, country or other genres where a full powerful tom sound is needed. They sounded rediculous on my DW kit and I will be using these heads as my "go to" tom head from here on out. The perfect balance of attack, tone and sustain. Seriously, if you want a punchy tom sound that's fat and powerful with just the right amount of sustain and tone, get this head. You'll dig it. It's super durable too!

Awesome Addictive Sound REMO Clear Vintage Emperor Heads

                By James SImms

                from Kaneohe, Hawaii

Comments about Remo Vintage Emperor Clear Drumhead:

I put these heads on my old Pearl Export Kit. I have a 12" and 13" rack toms and a 16" floor tom. When I played the kit next day after installing them. My ears were excited from the first strike on the 12" tom and the band got charged up from the sound of my kit as they were hearing a different sound on each song. It was a awesome heavenly sound from Heaven. People were asking me did you get a new kit? Why does your drums have a more distinct clear, bright, powerful clean sound? I told them it was the Holy Spirit and Remo Clear Vintage Emperor Heads. (On The resonant side I'm using REMO Clear Ambassadors Heads)Cannot go wrong using these heads. So try them you'll hear what I mean
