Overview

Nuskyn is a major breakthrough in drumhead technology that may be Remo's greatest innovation yet. Frequency analysis of Nuskyn shows that it closely resembles the performance of animal skin, while actually expanding the sound response spectrum dramatically. Nuskyn sounds natural, warm, and full-bodied with enhanced low and mid-range frequencies, without any lingering high-pitched overtones.

Crimplock Symmetry was created to add flexibility in Remo's manufacturing while increasing available drumhead dimensions. This means, Crimplock Symmetry drumheads can fit more conga drum models from the various drum manufacturers in the industry.

With Remo's most technically advanced drumhead technology and input from the best percussionists in the world, Remo has improved the sound and feel of drumheads. Remo synthetic drumheads provide easy tunability, durability, and playability-giving the world's top players the tools they need to play their music.

Good Tone Good Responce

By Daniel Torres

Comments about Remo Crimplock Symmetry Nuskyn D1 Conga Drumhead:

This Conga head from Remo is really good. Its durable, strong, and sounds professional. The only down side is that it gets kinda oily with the sweat on your hands. Rubbing it off with a dry towel usually fixes it. Overall really good.

      Great for live!

      By Marc Tenedora

      from Milpitas, CA

Comments about Remo Crimplock Symmetry Nuskyn D1 Conga Drumhead:

I found these skins after searching for something that did well cutting through with a live band. These do the job perfectly. I now don't have to kill my hands in a gig. You can barely touch it and get nice sound out of it with no effort. It may take time to adjust if you are used to playing natural skin because it will definitely change your sound. The best part that I love about this product is that I don't have to tune my conga as much. Weather and other conditions do not effect this. If you are a gigging player, these skins are a must. Sometimes you don't have time to tune your set and the show must go on. As for the sound, I get great slaps on my quinto. It almost sounds like a snare drum. It's dope!
