i got this head about a year ago but i never took it out the box but when i got a new kit i decided to put it on the kit and to be honest i had a big ring to it at the biginning but after a while of tuning the head right and applying the right amount of muffling to it it came out sounding like a big punch..THIS HEAD ROCKS!!! i love the way my bass drum sounds now all you gotta do is just tune the head properly and see how u like it to sound wa-la you gotta killer bass drum
