I use these as a reso side head on the toms of my PDP kit and I love them. I counter them with Evans Hydraulics, and once you get them tuned with that, or similar thick heads, to resonate at similar levels, it just sounds awesome. I'm considering just going all Ambassador on my toms though, open it up. All in all, it's a very durable head, stays well in tune, lasts a long time, well worth it.
I got these heads to replace my crappy stock reso heads. HUGE step up. They go perfect with the REMO Pinstrips. The make any kit sound amazing when tuned right.
Got these for my toms. Threw 'em in the back of all my toms, and tuned them up. I got them, because my drums were too much of a thud, and not enough resonance. After putting these on, they hold their not the perfect amount of time. Each tom has a clearly heard note. In short, made them musical and well heard. Great buy!
