  • Great Helpers

    When I first bought my kit about 4 years ago, the hardest thing for me was tunning the drums and getting the sound I wanted. After trying different heads I decided to get some control rings for my toms and snare. These tone control rings help a lot with overtones and makes getting a great sound way easier. Now I just take a couple minutes messing with my tuning when before it would take me hours and still would not be satisfied with the sound.

    The remo ring for my snare works really well because the snare is really cheap. In any other chase... to get rid of resonance or any sound you don't want, use moongel. The only reason I got this for the snare instead of moongel was because it sounded that bad. So much ring. It is a cheap ass snare, but it works for me, I just started about 5 months.   • annoying at times

    I got these to dampen a Gretsch Cantalina Maple with Remo emperors. As soon as I put these on, I heard more of a thud. Although after a while, I noticed that the rings were choking the drums and plus the rings were giving off buzzing noises which made me have to use a million pieces of tape to make them to stop buzzing! These were ok.
