  • best snare head!

    This is my second time having this head on my snare and its amazing. This head has a very nice crack tone for rock and r&b and no overtone, but the only problem is it wears though in a couple months but other than that great drumhead.

  • got rid of that stupid e-ring

    you heard me i love this head. before i was using coated ambassadors, which are great, just my particular snare has a horrible overtone problem, and this got rid of that. plus they last forever with the center dot, so go for it.

  • Remo's best snare head

    I have been using this head since I started playing drums at age 13 the former I used before was the controlled sound still a great head but not my type of choice. What is so significant about the powerstroke 3 is the way how they insert a eq controlled ring in the inside of the head to elimate overtones plus excessive ringing.I have two snares 13 inch and 14 inch, I will tune this head medium tight or low and the snare ringing sustain will ring very short giving a nice crack sound but no continous ring I am very pleased with this head. Plus you don't even need to put moongels, tape or any dampening because the head itself is muffled and very easy to tune. Any drummers that are having a hard time getting rid of ringing on a snare head I recommend this head as your choice.
