I had this Remo Powerstroke 3 Clear Batter for not even a year and while I was playing it broke, my pedal went right through the head. So if your going to buy this drum head I would recommend the Remo Flam patch to put on your bass drum head That will make the drum head last Twice as long.
I play the 12,13,& 16 in. of these and they are pretty good. I have had them for 2 years and there are no signs of dents. They deliver quick responce and fast decay because of the pinstripe. Best probably for performing micless in small venues. Overall, they won't let you down.
I've used Remo powerstroke 3 clear&coated. Clear is best for my Yamahas. Coated is better for the Tamas I have. This head is the best kick drum head you can buy!! This head is better than Evans EMAD, Aquarian super kick for the money!
