got this along with a powerstroke 3 22" head 2 months ago and couldnt be happier, has an amazing punchy attack sound metal players love while not making the drum any quieter whatso-ever. i reccomend a loose/med tuning to bring the best tones out of your drum
I bought this patch a few months ago and I could not have been any happier with it. It muffles the kick drum just enough to get rid of those nasty overtones. It also takes on hell of a beating. I would recommend this pad to anyone. It's well worth the few bucks.
I bought this patch because I needed something to take the beating from my double bass pedal, and I loved this patch! it really dosen't matter how hard you hit this patch becaus it is very stong, and will probably take years before you need a new one! I would recommend this product to any type of drummer.
