Wow!

No wonder John Bonham uses these!!! they are an amazing upgrade from the heads that originally came on my drum kit and i am going to stick with these. I hit very hard and they have not even dented in the several months I have had them and when I do eventually break them (if ever) I will without hesitation buy new ones.

I love it!

Imagine this: going from Pearl Pro Tone heads that were included with my kit and then moving up to these...yeah, you know it blew my freakin' mind! It's no wonder why many of history's top drummers have sworn allegiance to Remo -- their heads simply rock! I put this head on my snare and started tuning and I could already tell the difference! My snare has never sounded to alive...it had a crack that I never imagined possible! These heads are great and I am now exclusively Remo. Check these out and prepare to have your sound go to newer levels!

Great Head!

These are great heads. They sound big and alive, with minimal overtones. Emperors make good tom batters, but I wouldnt recommend them for Snare batters. You must know how to tune well if you want the best sound out of these heads.

Great 2 Ply Heads

These are my favorite type of 2-Ply head. They not only let the drum sing when tuned high and let your floor tom roar when tuned low, the also have outstanding durability. They also sound great for use with bruses or hot rods.If you are looking for a great souding coated head, this is for you.

Great Heads

These are great heads. They get a really dark, heavy sound. They also last for an amazing amount of time. They aren't as bright as ambassadors, but they last longer. I wouldn't suggest emperors on the snare, but they sound good on the toms. They're overall great heads, I'd recomend the shorter-lifed ambassadors, but emperors are still great.
