Premium batter tom drumheads from Remo take everything you've got and give back more. Specially formulated material for one of the most advanced replacement heads ever.
I have had these heads for a while on some not so good drums. I have these heads tuned perfectly and they sound amazing. I have one on top and bottom, and they do exactly what they're so supposed to. I don't get the unnecessary overtone. These heads are really great at muffling themselves and still holding up to the great remo quality sound you would expect. I highly recommend these heads to anyone looking for a good all around rock sound and very minimal overtone. Good job remo.

These heads are awesome! Besides their asthetic value they have a great sound. Their tone is deep and dark with lots and lots of warmth. You do have to play them a little heavier to get them to really "sing." All in all I was more than happy with the way they sound and feel. Great product!

I like a deep, low tone. I researched and found that these Ebony Pinstripes were the darkest and least resonant heads Remo makes. I was worried that it might be too much and that they might sound "dead". I used these on my Yamaha Stage Custom toms and bass and they sound awesome! They are a bit heavy. I naturally play pretty light. You need to lay into these bad boys a little in order to achieve their optimum tone. Enjoy!

I ordered this head in 10, 12, 13, 14, 16 and I am glad I did. This head has the look and sound you want for all your needs. I found the dampening I needed along with ease of tunability. All my high ring, overtone problems with the stock Pearl Protone heads are gone. You get the classic look of black with pinstripe which really sets off my black hardware. Superb product all around.

If you like black you're probably thinking these will look cool and they will, but more importantly they sound good, assuming you like a dark tone, which you probably do as you're looking at black drum heads. I haven't had trouble with busting any Remo heads and I'm usually a Bonham style heavy hitter when it comes to accoustic drums but they are a bit thicker(hence the slightly heavier/darker tone) than most drum heads. They do mark up easily if you're concerned about that, but these are still my favorite drum heads and will probably be yours if you don't already have one.
