Ebony Black Ambassador heads feature the same sound as clear Ambassador heads. Excellent projection with open, clear tone. Explosive attack with ringing sustain. Medium weight.
These heads sound good as batter heads. However, they are a great cosmetic addition as resonant heads for your toms. This small change from clear heads to black heads has made a world of different to my drumsets appearance.

These Remo Ebony Black Ambassador heads will take a beating and still not lose their great sound. They stay in tune longer than some of the other cheaper heads. Plus it will make any set look like it is brand new. I just wish it cost a little less, but that won't stop me from re-purchasing them later.
