Remo Pinstripe drum heads offer a pakr of 7-mil Mylar plies, and have quick decay. Their sound is low pitched with moderate attack and response characteristics. Pinstripe heads are 10", 12" and 14". The Emperor X snare head is 14".

A lot of improvement for my old drum set. I was looking for a solid rock beat and found it on this head.
I bought the Emperor X for my snare and realized how much of a waste of money it was. The sound was obnoxious and stale, and it rang about 3 seconds after I'd hit it. Tuning didn't help, stretching didn't help, just not the head I like.
I recently bought a new drum kit and changed out the stock heads to the Remo Pinstripe and Emperor X snare head. It's incredible how great my kit sounds! Remo heads have taken my drums to a whole new level. Even though I play loud, overtones are virtually eliminated. Remo heads are very durable and are a great value for money. You just can't go wrong with Remo. Two thumbs way up from me!
