Remo's Pretuned Daf drum produces rich tek tones and full bass tones while also featuring hundreds of chrome metal rings for added sonic textures.

Remo drew the inspiration to create the Daf drum from the classical Sufi music traditions found in Iran and Persia. Remo's Daf drum is constructed with the beautiful Skyndeep graphic drumhead that is pre-tuned on a 21" lightweight drumshell. Remo's Daf drum produces rich tek tones and full bass tones.

The frame drum also features hundreds of chrome metal rings attached on the inner wall of the shell in interlocked sets of four rings. These chrome metal rings produce a unique percussive sound when shaken and a buzz or snare like sound when touching the drumhead. Remo Daf features a padded thumb notch cutout that adds to the playing comfort.
