    Most Bongo players always find a need to have a extra skin for their high bongo, because the rawhide skin that most Bongos come with almost always rip due to the need to have a good "tin can" type sound. So because of this you have to tighten the skin alot, hence the RIPPED SKIN PROBLEM. The Remo Fiber skin 3 is a great soluton the is problem. Being that its a synthetic skin its a little more durable, and you bongos will never lose that authentic sound. Artist like Poncho Sanchez use Remo Skins and with the results of this one, I can see why. And it looks as good as it play. Its the best and most affordable Bongo head you can get in my book.
