  • Pretty good head but not my favorite

    I must say the ambassador snare side head its a good head but my problem is that if you tune this head tight or too tight it will just pop I don't know if it is the glue to the rim but everytime I buy this head I always encounter this same problem. I rather like the Evans 300 hazy because it can handle high to low tension 100% better than the ambassador snare side for resonant.

  • NOT a very good snare head.

    when I busted the snare head that my first set came with, the Guitar Center Drum worker recommended a Remo Pack. I got home and put them on, the toms sounded GREAT with the remo, but the snare... not to good. it sounded trashy and didn't have the ping that I look for in a snare. I felt like putting my busted one on. good news is i returned it and I got the Coated Controlled Sound Reverse Dot Snare Head by remo and it is AMAZING! buy that one instead. this one is pretty much a waste.

  • This is a Snare Side Head - Not a batter head

    There is no other head that I would use for the snare side of my snare drums. But, it's not a better head. The other review posted is incredibly misleading and unfortunately wrong. This is an incredibly light head and thus, is not intended to be struck. If you bought this head with that intention, it's not the heads fault that you don't understand it's purpose. Remo has never done me wrong. Remo Ambassador Snare Side heads are no exceptions. Buy this head.
