  • Awesome!

As reviewed by Jeremy on 10/3/2010

I've tried multiple brands of sticks and these have definitely put the icing on the cake. I'm used to using your standard 7A sticks because I have a strong distaste for tree trunks.. These are a little fatter than 7A. These sticks seem to fit my style best. They're light as air and fast as a lighting strike. Okay.. maybe not that fast.... hah. They definitely do what your hands want to do if you're down with thinner sticks for heavy hitting. They have a nice grooved tip on them for fast precise playing. The tip also sounds great on cymbals. I use A Customs and they make my A Customs sound like they're made for metal. I get a nice fat ping on my ride bell. Like they say in the add.. they were designed to reach faster bpms. This is true. I've notice an improvement on my rudiments at higher BPMs and feel less strain at higher speeds. They definitely help if you play thrash speed metal like myself. The tacky lacquer finish helps with precise control and the length helps if you play a huge kit like mine. I don't think I'll buy a different pair again unless they're of the same EX line. I'm looking forward to trying out Grind and Death as well. I'm pretty much stuck on Regal Tip from this point on. They are definitely worth a try, however, they may not fit everyone's style. Give them a try and if you don't like them atleast you'll know they don't work for you!

  • Great Lightweight Stick for any Genre Playstyle

As reviewed by Matt Fecho on 1/1/2013

I found this brand by accident going through twitter one day and I was in need of some new sticks so I decided to order a pair of these. I received them very fast and I instantly loved them. They're extremely lightweight and definitely thinner than any stick I've used in the past. The stick tips are also a great feature on this sticks, something that could definitely provide an interesting sound in recordings. I would recommend this sticks to any drummer who's looking for a stick that isn't too heavy and want a stick can get a great variation of play styles. I've been using them for about a month now and they still hold strong for the genre I mostly play, death metal/post-hardcore.
