  • THE BEST!!!

As reviewed by chad blakney on 2/14/2013

These are by far the best brushes I have ever used I've been playing drums for almost 40 years and I have never had brushes last as long as the regal tip cameron does live. Shows are hard on brushes and I play a lot of rockabilly, surf & uptempo stuff.Guitar players hate getting hit in the side of the head when a few wires come shooting out as you hit a cymbal never with these brushes there frick'n tough!!! But remember to keep them in the plastic tube in your stick bag if you do bend the wires brushes you can't bend them back they DO NOT retract!!!

I'll note the only negative about these brushes first. They are not retractable so you run the risk of having them get bent and beatup in your stick bag. Other than that, I love these brushes. They shaft is the same diameter as my sticks rather than the very thin shaft of so many brushes. The brushes are wide and fairly soft which I like for the jazz quartets I play with. I've tried many different brands, and I keep coming back to these.
