Comments about Recording King U25 Banjolele:

I bought this for my 13 year old son for Christmas. He was really wanting a banjolele. The very day he got it, he learned some chords using an instruction book, and within a day, he wrote a song and was playing well! He has no prior string experience (he plays piano). This product arrived extremely well packaged and it is clearly a good-quality, professional product - well worth the money. My son taught his older brother and my husband to play his song, and now my husband says he wants a ukulele! This little instrument is a ton of fun and really easy to pick up. My son has had it now for nearly three weeks, he's learned many songs (thanks, Youtube), and shows no signs of getting bored. Highly recommended!!

Comments about Recording King U25 Banjolele:

So the lady complaining about the tone is nylon string ignorant. It will take a few weeks of consistent playing and tuning to stretch the nylon string til they will hold a tune. Also a banjo and thus banjolele all have moveable bridges... duh. Tricky to get aligned... i marked my corners with sharpie to always get more or less back into the right place. Banjolele is awesome, love everything about it! Been a uke player going on 3 years now... got this to add a different sound to my folk tunes. I would however like a hard case for it. havent found one yet to match the rest of my gear. Brown vintage gator case like they make for regular ukes and banjo... make it happen please!!

Comments about Recording King U25 Banjolele:

Banjolele is very cool looking. I gasped when I took it out of the box. The bridge is a loose piece of wood that you slide under the strings. This was unexpected and makes it very hard to tune the instrument. I looked up tuners online and could match the tone for accurate tuning. After only a few strums it would fall right back out of tune. No instructions included or available online on proper care or use either; so I don't even know of I'm doing something wrong. The sound does not resonate and the strings dampen very quickly. Almost gives off a cringing buzz when the strings vibrate.
