Overview

Recording King's 10 Series guitars give players the benefits of all-solid tonewoods in a great-sounding, low-key package. The RP-10 Single 0 is a great-sounding small body based on a traditional design with a 25.4" dreadnought scale length for extra projection. The width of the bone nut is 1-3/4".

Each 10 Series guitar is crafted with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. Descending-size fretboard dots and tortoise binding give them distinctly vintage and tasteful styling. They deliver the classic sound and historic design Recoring King has built their name on.

Comments about Recording King RP-10 0-Style Acoustic Guitar:

I bought the RP-10 for fingerpicking only. For me it's perfect to sit on the couch with and work on fingerpicking patterns while watching some TV or working on those chops. With it's 1 3/4" width nut and 2 5/16" string spacing at the saddle, it works very well for finger style with plenty of room. It's neck feels slim to me and smooth even though it has a high gloss neck. The solid African Mahogany back & sides looks like either Sapele or Sipo and are nice pieces of wood and the Sitka Spruce top looks like an aging toner was added. It sounds like a small bodied guitar, not really boxy, but as it opens up the tone i believe will really kick in as it sounds good right out of the box. The set-up wasn't bad, very playable.
This guitar wasn't bought to be my main guitar, but to compliment my other guitars, when a small bodied guitar is needed. And the main thing it's fun to play with.
