Awesome banjo!

By John Storrow

Comments about Recording King OT25 Madison Old-Time Banjo:

I had a very expensive Wildwood banjo for a while and it buzzed and weighed a ton so I sold it a few years ago. Recently I got the Recording King OT25 and I love it not only for the reasonable price but the sound is even better than the Wildwood!. Very easy to play for a relative beginner like me. No need for a resonator, the sound is plenty loud, crisp, warm, and no buzzing. It doesn't sound or feel like a toy at all.. Well made with tuning pegs that seem sturdy and precise. It doesn't have the fancy in-lays but hey, its all about the sound and playability anyway which I think the OT25 has in spades (meaning a lot in my opinion) I'd keep writing but I'd rather play my Recording King 0T25 thanks

Good banjo for hanging out and bringing places

Comments about Recording King OT25 Madison Old-Time Banjo:

The pot isn't the best build, but the playability of the neck makes up for it. With a little set up it sounds quite a bit more expensive than it is. Seems fairly sturdy. Good for hauling about and not having to worry about it, so it will definitely get played a lot.
