The Raxxess Black Oak Studio Rack features the simplest of designs. These economy racks are black oak laminate over 5/8" medium density fiberboard. They provide a very economical yet attractive means for rack mounting audio gear in home studios or smaller installations. Assembly hardware and 11-gauge steel rack rails are provided. Logo panels shown are not included.

Particle board maybe, but the black (oak veneer) grain finish is great. Unit Comes with hardware (front mounting rails and screws). You'll need to get Raxxess screws to mounting your gear. It would be nice, but the unit does not include rear mounting rails. The back is open.
This rack has a great looking finish on the panels and fits nicely on my desk due to it's small size; I have the 4-space rack. I would definitely recommend it!
I bought the 16U rack and I gotta say its amazing. Its very easy to install (Better have good handstrength though ), it holds many of my rackmount hardware really well and I use the top as a mixer stand so that saved me money. Recommended? Definitely.
