A big gig rig in combo form.

The Raven RG200 is a guitar combo amplifier that delivers a massive 200W RMS into the twin 12" internal speakers. The RG200 amp features a wide variety of great tones. The 16 Digital Effects are assignable quickly and easily to each of the 2 channels, providing just the right amount of ambience to your performance. Also, the Raven RG200 features "tonal recall" effect switching which automatically recalls your stored effect when you switch channels.

Additional features include a parallel effect loop send and return for use with a pedal board or other effects. And you can even use the effect send as a line out. Connect additional speakers with the extension speaker jack: such as the Raven RG412. Protection circuitry eliminates the possibility of power amp damage due to impedance mis-matching. The Raven RG200 amplifier also includes caster sockets for use with standard amp casters.

NEW REVIEW - amazing workhorse

When I first went shopping for an amp I was on a budget. I had thoughts about getting an amp for a good price but sound quality is another thing I wanted. I was at guitar center and seen this thing sittin there and tried it out. I was shocked by the clean channels sound, my jaw dropped when I heard the distortion. I play metal so everybody was makin me lean towards a marshall, but after playin this thing I will never use another amp. this amp is amazing with processors.great quality, well built, a solid amp for the price. If you are on a budget and need a good amp that will satisfy your needs as an active musician then get this amp.:)

NEW REVIEW - MHMM

I bought this amp as a second stage amp to my stack. It has really good sound with a lot of crunch. The clean was awesome I ended up only using this amp for the clean sections. I didn't use the lead channel alot it gave a lot of output I ran my pedalboard directly into the clean channel. It has tons of meat to it and is super loud. Overall I love this amp, it's a fire breather for sure. The only thing that has stopped working for me was the little channel switch button on the head but just get a universal footswitch and problem is solved.

Raven RG 200 Unique amplifier

When a manufacturer gets it right you have to commend them. This amp is awesome!! In short:the clean channel has great depth and warmth(most solid states do not). It has progressive volume increase versus huge jumps. If tweaked correctly, the effects are really good, and clean. The gain/lead channel is really good,(if tweeked to satisfaction). You have to play with this amp to get it to suit your style. The sound of the amp really jumps out at you with nice presence!! Also, its as rugged as a tank, which is great for gigs. Great amp for the price, and not noisy like many other solid states. Im raving about Raven, and after having amps for 30 years its nice to find one that had all the stuff I like on it. Great job RAVEN

One of the best I've played on.

Main thing I wanted... A LOUD amp. The clean channel amazed me. I play on an Ibanez RG320 DX QM and an RG350 DX and for some reason, on alot of amps they get kind of a distorted sound on clean. So i played around on a Raven stack. I liked the head, because it had alot of effects. Then i saw this. So i got this, and bought the cabinet. Its a great mix, and it gets amazingly loud. The only thing i could've asked for would have been a better Lead (Distortion) channel. It's okay, but it has a really dry sound to it. So i just hook up my Boss Metal-Core (ML-2 I think) and it gets a really great sound.

A Great Value!

You can't beat this amp for the money! Great clean tone, incredible presence, plus lots of extra goodies. The built-in effects mean a lot less gear to haul around, and I love having the tuner there whenever I need it. My only complaints: no indicator to tell you when the effects are on, and the effect names are printed so small that I have to grab my glasses whenever I want to select a different effect. But hey, I love this amp!
