  • Groundshaking Sound

As reviewed by JonIsDead on 7/27/2009

This is an absolutely marvelous amp- A rock solid construction that packs a loud, vibrant punch. The distortion sounds absolutely brilliant on this amp, and I've actually begun using it at shows, over my cherished Line 6 amp. Not only does it have a massive, powerful tone, but it sounds absolutely wicked when you crank up the distortion to the top, drop the mids out, and pump up the treble and bass all the way up! Classic Death Metal tone worthy of a Morbid Angel album! That being said, it also can make a guitar weep with a little bit of delay and the distortion cranked down, you'll have people crying in the audience at how beautiful it sounds. For a measly 99 bucks, this thing is a STEAL! BUY! THIS! AMP!

  • Good Starter Amp

As reviewed by Ben Patterson on 6/30/2010

Pretty good amp. The clean is pretty good, and so is the lead channel. I've had this amp for a while and i prefer it better than my Peavy 130 Special. The overdrive could use more power. I play alot of Van Halen and it barely dosen't have enough gain to cut it. It is overall a great starter amp though.

  • Awesome Practice Amp

As reviewed by Luke K on 7/17/2009

This is a great practice amp. I'm no fan of the Gain on this amp, but the clean tone you can get out of this thing is incredible! I get my distortion with a BOSS Metal Zone, so all I need is the clean channel. The built-in tuner is a little tricky, but nice. The built-in reverb/delay is pretty good too. Awesome practice amplifier for an awesome price!
