Awesome

This amp has an awesome sound, but no built-in effects. I at first wondered how an amp of this size could be that cheap but, that's why no build-in effects. All in all it's a good amp for anybody that needs to upgrade to a larger amp from a starter.

highly under-estimated

Picked up this deal just after Christmas, and I gotta say it's great for the money. I gave it 5 stars for that reason, it's great for the MONEY. For how inexpensive it is you can't expect to get Mesa tones or anything, but it gets the job done. It fills in where I need it most, a larger amp for gigging and a very clean sound for recording. With active EMG's the distortion isn't bad at all, but no way should you use it with a Strat. My setup that I have gotten to sound very good right now is a BOSS GT-6 plugged into an ART Tube MP Studio, then plugged into the effects return on the amp. The effects return is what sold me on this because it makes it much more flexible than anything in its price range.

Not bad

A great amp for the money. It has good-sounding reverb--which is nice. Gets good and loud and has a good sound. Sounds much better a high volumes than similar Crate models I've played. It skimps a little on features: no line out, no headphone jack, only one input... but it does have an external speaker jack. An excellent first "big" amp, especially if you're on a really tight budget, like me. I've had it for like three months and no problems yet... I guess time will tell if this one has the durability factor.

Great Amp

I got this amp just yesterday when in search for a new one... of course... when i got home and plugged it in, i turned it up to about 5 and it nearly blew my windows up! This can easily play over drummers. The clean channel works great as well. the lead channel is also great. the gain gives me a trebbley, almost vintage sound...? Anyway. i do recommend this amp to anyone out there looking for a great amp with a great price...

Too bad.....

I was so excited to try this amp out, but it failed me. The gain channel didn't have enough output and had absolutely no low end. The Clean channel was decent and you could probally get by with a pedal. I guess you get what you pay for.
