Started with a Denon Dnx-120...good..then went to a pioneer DJM-600...great mixer...Now I have the TTM-57SL and I wish I would of gotten it first. Once you get the Serato button's set to the way you want, this mixer cannot be beat. The sound quality is great, the overall quality is top-notch, and the fact that I don't have to carry the Serato interface or a midi-controller is icing on the cake. Its pricey, but its well worth it and I would of paid twice the price. GET IT, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.
I like gear that I can use a long time because to me the longer you use it the more comfortable it feels(For example my Technique 1200's are older than some of you readers.)The Rane TTM57 is one of those products which I Know will be with me for a long time because it is that good.This mixer is for the Pros and it does everything the pros need.If you need a mixer to automatically blend the songs for you this is not that one.This is the grown man mixer
Just picked up the TTM57 SL today, and all I can say is WOW! I can not ask for more out of a mixer especially as a DJ/Producer who uses ableton live. No more reaching for my laptop in some clubs I perform at where the laptop has to be placed in some odd position. I can scroll through my crates and songs and load it to deck a or b. At home I can record a mix and upload it directly on ableton with all my eq-ing, fades, x fades loops and more for further tweaking. 10++ from me. KEEP IT UP RANE !!
