Comments about Randall MOR Boost Guitar Effects Pedal:
Bought this on a whim. And I'm glad I did. This is built like a tank and it is so simple to use. To quote Scott Ian., "...it has one angry knob". I use it as a boost for my Randall LB50C, and it makes a good amp sound like a raging beast. Notes have more clarity, and percussiveness to them. When A/B'd to my TS9, its not as versatile or 'warm' sounding, but that's OK. With me anyways. I use it with a noise reduction pedal and its fun to chug away. And that's it! I'm only linking up 1 or 2 pedals with this thing! I use mine with the lone knob set around 8 o clock, with the amp gain close to 90%. The effect is just on. The more you turn the knob, the more trebly the sound becomes. I was expecting that. One can mess with the amount of gain the amp is pushing then push it over with this pedal. The manufacturers pamphlet indicates that it'll work well with tube amps. They are right. This pedal does what they say it'll do. I'm having a lot of fun with this.
