Rainsong Concert Series CO-WS1000N2 Graphite Acoustic-Electric Guitar (581063)
Availability:

The unique graphite construction of this acoustic-electric offers warm tone and structural stability.

The RainSong Concert Series CO-WS1000N2 is a graphite acoustic-electric guitar that is all about warm tone. This concert-size guitar boasts the lightest soundboards built by RainSong using unidirectional carbon, a material that mimics the tight grain of a fine spruce soundboard.

The Rainsong WS1000N2 is a wonderfully versatile guitar. Combining the best qualities of large and small-bodied guitars, the concert body shape is ideally suited for a variety of musical situations. A large, deep chamber gives the WS1000N2 strong projection and rich bass. The narrow waist and tight upper bout produce ringing treble, good balance and clear definition of individual notes. Overall, the Rainsong WS1000N2 is impeccably balanced. The shapely curves and light weight make the WS1000N2 guitar comfortable to cradle while sitting or to stand with. The extra-deep cutaway encourages playing up the guitar's fretboard.

The Rainsong N2 neck is a result of an extensive, long-term collaboration with renowned artist Steve Miller and master luthier John Bolin. The neck design is based on a modified "U" profile that has been popular in guitars since the 1950s. While the Rainsong N2 guitar neck has a more substantial feel than the original RainSong 6-string neck, it is ergonomically sound and actually results in better transfer of string vibration energy to the soundboard. The N2 neck features a truss rod that is accessible from the head stock. Because Graphite does not warp or bow with changes in humidity and temperature, the purpose of a truss rod in the Rainsong N2 guitar neck is to give you the ability to customize the relief to suit your preferences. Includes case.

  • Rainsong CO-WS1000N2

As reviewed by Kathy on 4/8/2011

I was recently in Hawaii and saw someone playing a Rainsong guitar at a hotel restaurant outside. I was amazed with the sound and, of course the look of the guitar. Not knowing anything about graphite guitars, I did my homework and stopped in at Guitar Center on Halsted in Chicago. The sales rep, Jen Bleck was very helpful in finding a Rainsong guitar that fit my budget, and likes. The guitar is well WORTH the investment, I'll never have to buy another in my lifetime. I can't thank Jen enough for her help and recommendation. I love playing this 5-star guitar!

  • The Hardest Woking, Greatest looking, Guitar Ever!!!

As reviewed by Elmer on 4/3/2009

I bought this guitar last Easter. I was orignally going to buy a 900 series Taylor when i saw this black beauty in the corner, picked it up and strummed it. It had dead strings and still sounded amazing. I do a lot of traveling to different countries and in cold or warm climates the results are the same. Great sound and once you tune it, it stays tuned. Besides the great quality and sound you'll get some awesome compliments due to it's unique style and look.

  • Love at first sound

As reviewed by Mike on 2/5/2011

i have yet to purchase this instrument since i am a poor college kid. however my uncle has had this model for years. i would classify myself as an intermediate player while he is very advanced. i could tell by the very first chord that i played that this was an absolutely incredible guitar. it has such a warm sound it was just beautiful. my uncle told me when he bought it, he first took it out of the packaging and IT WAS STILL IN TUNE FROM THE FACTORY. unbelievable. hands down the best instrument i've ever played and i've held many from martins to upper level gibsons to taylors.
