The RainSong JM3000 Jumbo 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar combines the large-sized sound chamber with lightweight graphite construction to deliver extra-loud and deep tone that superbly counterbalances the extra treble strings. This is a 12-string guitar that is great for strumming and finger style, full of power and delicacy, and ready to hit the road. The all-graphite construction of the RainSong JM3000 makes it the only 12-string acoustic-electric guitar that is able to stay in tune at concert pitch and to withstand temperature and humidity variations; qualities that every seasoned 12-string player has long pined for.

There is no better stage than a 12-string to appreciate the qualities of all-graphite construction and Projection Tuned Layering. Rich, loud, clear and balanced, the Carbon sound of RainSong is only heightened and made more intense by the complex tones, overtones and sympathetic overtones specific to a 12-string. The stability and strength of graphite compared to wood is very high. As a result, RainSong is able to set its twelve string action low and to design its neck to be thin, comfortable and easy-to-play without fear of structural failure due to the increased tension of six extra strings. Comments about Rainsong JM3000 Jumbo 12-String Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

After playing a lot of 12s I knew what I wanted & this one delivers. First off I don't have to worry about the soundboard warping or what the humidity is. It stays in tune whether it's indoors or out. It's very light. Doesn't need bracing so the sound board is quite resonant. You can fingerpick it softly & get plenty of sound or strum it hard & get a loud, rich & clear sound with lots of note separation. No mud at all. The action is better than most 12s I've tried & string spacing is good for fast fingerpicking. A lot of 12s I've tried are strummers only because the strings aren't paired off enough to give my fingertips room. It has decent bass, being a jumbo. Like my other 12 (Breedlove) I tune it down a step just to make it more playable & I prefer the deeper sound. At first I thought it sounded a little brittle but I realized it was the clarity. I wasn't used to that. Now I prefer it. Wooden 12s sound a little muddy to me now but that's a personal preference. I've had mine 3 years & I'm keeping it.
