The Radial Tonebone JX•2 Pro Switchbone is an exceptional AB-Y switcher. It allows you to drive 2 guitar amplifiers at the same time without introducing noise, hum, or coloration and to switch between amplifiers without problems. It employs the class-A circuitry from the acclaimed Radial JD7 Injector for exceptional audio performance. The compact pedal has been optimized for maximum, yet simple, performance.

The Switchbone incorporates a simple yet extremely effective power booster with variable gain control and gain boost, mid and gain boost, and mute. The mute turns off the amp outputs while still sending signal to the tuner out.

The innovative Drag Control feature allows the user to re-introduce a load on the pickup, which fools the pickup into thinking it is connected to an amplifier.

  • One of the best ways to great Tone

    With the JX 2 Pro Switchbone from Radial you can split your tone without loss of signal between two amps or effects chains. With it's built in load correction and clean boost your guitar's natural tone comes through without being dulled and the selectable mid boost allows you to shape your tone further to change the charteristics of pickups, etc. With an A/B/Y(A&B) configuration you can use it to switch like channels between amps set clean and dirty, or you can use it to drive 2 amps in parallel, which is honestly one of the best paths to great tone; it also makes it feel like you've multiplied all your gear x2. Another pro quality tool from Radial that won't suck your tone (on or off, it's true bypass like all their products) and can help make sure your tone doesn't. If you haven't tried running this way, you really should.
