The Quik-Lok Tripod Laptop Holder is retractable to make it easy to take to gigs or to store.

The stand was exactly as pictured and arrived in perfect condition. I use it to hold my 15 inch MacBook while taking pictures using remote control software. Works perfect.
This is a good product. I just wish the mouse tray position were more flexible. Your wrist is always resting on the lip of the mouse tray, which is even worse than if it were resting on a flat surface. Good way to give yourself carpal tunnel if you use the mouse very often. The tray is hard-wired this way or else I'd rotate it 90 degrees to use the side that doesn't have a lip. I plan to come up with a modification because as is, the mouse tray is useless to me. Otherwise the stand is great--very rugged and very adjustable. Easily accommodates my 17.3" laptop, and I have absolutely no fear that it will fall over.
This this is sturdy and solid, which is the most important thing when thinking about taking care of your laptop. I could do without the mouse tray, because you don't need a mouse with a Macbook trackpad. But hey, maybe you could find a better use for it.
This stand put my laptop where I need it. Easy to move around with the casters. Keep setlists, mp3s charts and lyrics at the click of mouse.
This was exactly what I was looking for... almost. The stand is sturdy when unfolded and I can raise my laptop high enough so it's an easy reach. The arms hold my laptop well. The arms are a great idea, because you can arrange them so they don't obstruct any input ports. It folds nearly flat when not in use. It even looks good. My only quibble is the mouse pad is a little small even for a mini mouse. I know they had to shrink it to fit under the main table, but it looks like they could have made it an inch or two bigger. It also doesn't come with assembly instructions. Fortunately it's obvious how it goes together, except for one washer. I decided it must go against the pipe since it's curved to fit there.
If you have a good mouse and it's set properly, the mouse wing is big enough. If you have a Mac and an Apple "Magic Trackpad" its smaller size is perfect. All the locks are secure, especially the tilt lock with is toothed and grooved for absolutely no change of the laptop suddenly taking a backward or forward dive. The base of the stand can be adjusted for width, giving the user a trade-off between maximum stability and room for the legs. The adjustment for the holder pegs for a wide variety of laptops is big enought for my 17" Macbook Pro, and will probably adjust well to a smaller Windows machine. It's heavily built and sturdy, and, except for the somewhat small mouse wing, it's just about as good as it can be for its intended usage.
this is a great and affordable laptop stand. Easy to assemble. Fully functional and great product. The mouse tray is small but it still works well with the stand
I got two of these for my new setup. One for the laptop and one for the Akai APC40, which I wasn't sure if it would fit or not. The APC40 fits quite nicely and both hover over the USB keyboard at a proper height. I highly recommend the tripod Laptop holder since it is sturdy and versatile! :-)
The Quik-Lok LPH-003 Tripod Laptop Holder with Mouse Tray does it's job, but wish the mouse tray was a bit larger. The only mouse that can be used is a mini mouse. The edges of the tray are raised & get in the way. I imagine this is to keep the mouse in the tray when not in use. I adapted a tray into the slot and now can use a full sized mouse. Also, the four stoppers are allen wrenches with rubber caps on the ends. A decent buy, for the price.
