I bought this because it was cheaper and less bulky than the actual laptop stand (it won't hold smaller laptops; it was even too big for my 17" macbook pro). It functions as it should, but has some plastic pieces on it that were already broken when i opened the box. The plastic pieces are just cosmetic and won't effect the performance of the equipment, but still would expect more for the price!
