HAVE A PAIR OF THESE RUNNING WITH THE NS7, EASY AND ACCESSIBLE SETUP. SPEAKERS WORK GREAT AND CAN PUT OUT GREAT POWER. TWO OF THESE CAN HANDLE A SIZE OF 300 PEOPLE WITH EASE. GREAT HIGHS, MIDS, AND BASS. AND NO ONE COMES CLOSE TO THE 6 YEAR WARRANTY.
I purchased these cabinets about a month ago, and all I can say is WOW! They deliver a truly clean sound even at very high volume. Ofcoarse, you need to use them with powered subs if your going for a main PA system but they are the first sound product I have purchased in a long time that exceeded my expectations. FYI, they work well with Mackie powered subs.
I bought two of these to use with my guitars and a pod xt pro. These speakers sound great, move a lot of air, and let me hear details I've never heard before. They seem more expensive than what you actually get. But at the same time I'm very happy with the purchase -- they do exactly what I wanted.
The sound is excellent. I use one of these as a monitor for DJing. I engage the filter on the back of the unit to cut the bass so I can hear my mixes more clearly. I can see this speaker being paired with the 15" QSC sub for small/medium size gigs without the hassel of lugging around the weight of the 15" QSC loudspeakers and 18" QSC subs that I have. Pros: Excellent sound, excellent build quality, light enough to move around easily Cons: none
We were first decided for Mackie then I noticed the QSC and asked for a listening; we bought the QSC and the family was so happy with the speakers and that made me so please because I'm the one who advised them to get the QSC; at home the speakers are really singing, nice and powerfull; we bought them for home karaoke.
My partner and I have been in the mobile DJ business for 13 years and have always been die hard, loyal JBL guys. We've had multiple problems blowing cones in our JRX 100 series JBL's. We took them in for repairs for the 4th time in 6 months. I decided it was time to try something different. When I heard the QSC, HPR122i's. I was blown away by the quality of the sound. We took them home abd set them on our JBL Subs. and cranked them up, WOW!! Look out North Florida DJ's The Wingman is in town with an unbelievable sound. Thanks QSC, YOU ROCK!!
These are nicest speakers I have ever owned. Professional equipment. The name says it all, QSC. The 12" speakers are nice and tight. This cabinet gives a true representation of whatever you send through it. Vocals are very clear and smooth. It's almost as if that person siging was right in front of you. The tweeter is not harsh like other Guitar Center speaker name brands. I love these speakers also because they are versatile. You can use it as a monitor also and it has that professional monitor look to it. One thing I also like is that there's no popping sound when the speaker is being shut off ( unlike Mackies, SA1521 ) . This speaker is a product worth upgrading to. I am very happy. Thanks QSC.
