Featuring the same pro features as the rest of PLX2 Series power amps and plenty of punch. But the PLX1804 comes at a friendlier price for those who don't need bridged or 2-ohm operation. Designed to power one or 2 speakers from each amplifier channel (4 ohm minimum loading) it offers a simplified feature set while retaining genuine, uncompromised PLX performance and technology. Weighing just 13 pounds this "plug-and-play" amplifier is perfect for ultraportable rigs, as well as reference-quality playback.

Very lightweight. Advanced cooling with flow-through heat sinks and front exhaust; front-panel LED power, clip, -10dB, and signal present indicators; Speakon outs; 21-position front-panel gain controls; balanced XLR inputs with TRS connectors; and patented PowerLight power supply technology combine to make the PLX1804 one of the most versatile andpower amp available.

Clip limiting protects speakers while thermal limiting maintains operation even during abnormal overloads.

900W/ch @ 4 ohms, 600W/ch @ 8 ohms.

    I would use this amp for any kind of program - band - dj you name it. very easy to use very lightweight(13 LBS) Simple set up and very powerful.As I am in my late 40s this item will make me feel young at heart. Use it for anything does not have to be sophisticated for quality results. I call this the all in all amp. Again this is very easy to use trust me...

  • No Other Choice For This Amp!

    I bought the QSC PLX1804 Lightweight Professional Power Amplifier just last week to go with my JBL MRX subwoofers, and I must say, I am glad the salesman talked me out of the crown amp! Just from instore and the two times I have hooked these up to the amps - THIS AMP MADE MY SUBS HIT HARDER THAN THE CROWN DID! To be honest, to my ear, other amps just did not make the subs hit that hard like the QSC amp did. And plus, you get a free six-year warranty, what a deal! Spend the extra money, you will be happy you did!

    It was time to take some weight out of my rack (I just turned 40)so my QSC RMX2450 had to go! I bought this amp hoping it could at lease keep up to the RMX2450 and within minutes of taking it out of the box, I found that punch that I was always looking for but couldn't afford in a package that weighed less than my PC. I don't have to babysit the clip meter anymore! This has the power to man-handle 4 EV tops in a crowded ballroom! Thank you QSC!
