these are great straplocks, i put these on my epi les paul jr, and work great. only problem i had with these was compatibility, i tried to put them on my epi SG but the neck bold is too long and big.
Well i bought the Black Fire Wheel, and the locking system on this is amazing i dont think it would ever drop your guitar.....However the only reason it might drop your guitar is the fact that after playing on my guitar, i realized that one of the washer/"fire wheels" had a small group of the "flames" broken off, but it stayed on nonetheless, so i thought nothing of it. Until another day i noticed again that even more of the "flame" had broken off. Now i'm currently looking into a more sturdier version of this strap lock...you know something with less gap on the washer part of it.
