Comments about Cymbal Case:
I bought in ebony, and IMO it's the best "vault" style case in it's price range. Look at their website for more info. I bought this case 99% for storage, but would not worry at all taking it in my vehicle fully loaded; far better protection than many bags. CON'S: Bad pkg! Like all vaults, it has a spindle. Used for storage, consider the extra space to lay it flat, so as not to keyhole your cymbals by vertical stress. Quality; the spindle needs better protection than the thin short sleeve provided (cheap for Gator, big plus for user). The interior base of the spindle has the hex nut exposed and you will need to use one of the felts to cover it. Some may not like that the handle is welded on, and up close looks added, rather than a part of the mold, but it is strong and proportional. Ease of Use; the "no belt closure" may be a con to some. I chose that option and I'm not complaining, but after using it, a possible improvement would be to even out the pressure on the smaller side with molded ribs like the big side. The outer wing nut that secures the top to the bottom naturally concaves the smaller side. Balance; when loaded, don't let it stand on it's own - at best you must lean it. FYI it will NOT take a 24" if you're thinking "maybe..." PRO'S: Overall a great value! Protects cymbals when other items are stacked onto it (like anytime you're hauling drums!). Resilient; it's about 1/8" thick solid plastic. It's molded but not brittle and (probably) won't crack easily if it fell. Quality; it's not top of the line, but it IS durable enough to be taken to gigs by drummers themselves regularly, IMO. The handle is strong and comfortable-no pinching. It easily accepts my 22" ride with air space around it, and currently 5 more cymbals 18"-12". It could hold up to 9 like they say (no china's). It comes with 2 felts and the needed hardware. Overall I'm pleased and rather than overload it, or buy an econo with wheels to carry more, I would buy another one.

Fits all of my cymbals but one :/ I have a ride, 2 crashes, hi-hats and a china. Fits everything but the china, due to it's bell. So if you have this in mind and have a Wuhan China or another china with that bell type, be for-warned. That aside, it's very easy to use and feels very solid.
