File Format Support and Surround Processing
Version 2.5 supports all popular file formats including Broadcast Wave Files (BWF), Sony WAVE64 and EBU MBWF/RF64 and offers 5.1, 6.1 and even N.1 surround sound processing in perfect phase sync “ converting between different frame rates for film and TV has never been easier! Whats more, you can decode and combine an unlimited number of files into one multichannel file which you can then process and export. TimeFactory 2 supports all popular word lengths up to 32bit and sample rates as high as 384kHz and can directly import tracks from your iTunes library.

Formant Processing
In addition to changing speed and pitch of audio files independently, TimeFactory lets you customize formants as well, thereby avoiding the œmunchkinization effect when changing the pitch of voice. This is also a great option to tweak sounds for sound design, or for creating two different voices from the same speaker.

MPEX Processing
TimeFactory makes use of the latest version of Prosoniqs MPEX which is the industry standard for high fidelity time stretching and pitch shifting. The latest version has been tremendously improved in both quality and speed of processing. Almost every major digital audio workstation or audio application on the Mac and PC uses MPEX to achieve high quality, crystal-clear audio time stretching.

TimeFactory 2 not only incorporates Prosoniqs MPEX time stretching, but the high quality, high performance DIRAC and ClearScale algorithms as well.
