At first I didn't want to upgrade - I've used 4.0 for a long time and it still does everything I need. But since Propellerhead merged Reason and Record, that made the upgrade compelling, so....
Glad I did - 6.0 has some very cool additions (Pulveriser is a new favorite), and the interface is modified a tad, but this is still the beast that gets the job done. All more, all better.
I always upgrade reason, my favorite recording software, and I was ecstatic to find audio recording, templates, and even more intuitive functions that lets me be a writer and spend less time being an engineer .
there are so many new additions, too many to mention, just read the review on this website, but having audio allows me to not to bother with rewire and my other software, as everything I need is here. best of all, i got rid of my complete stack of outdated midi interfaces and modules, patch bays etc, because of all the great sounds and loops that come with this product. I have spent a lot of money on individual soft and hardware products over time in my set up and now reason does it all for an unbelievable price.
