Propellerhead's ReCycle 2.1 is an incredibly useful creative tool that helps you make the most of your grooves by letting you work with sampled loops the same way you work with beats programmed from individual drum sounds, like alter the tempo, replace sounds, and process them individually. The music software is the perfect tool for quickly editing sampled parts, chopping up riffs, remixing and doing mash ups.
How is it done? Propellerhead ReCycle will analyze your groove and break it up into its rhythmic components. You are now in complete control and free to change the tempo or the pitch, without one affecting the other. And that's just scratching the surface.
Then what? Load the resulting REX2 file into your audio sequencer or software sampler and you can be the master of your grooves, once and for all.

man im telling recycle is the best hands down loop slicer ever created..i can make crazy chops that just transform into a monster beat!..
First i sample of my Numark USB turntable purchased from GUITAR CENTER..then record the sample of the record into my computer..then the magic starts..save the sample in AUDACITY..then transfer in wav for to Acid PRO 4.0..Make a nice loop of the sample then tranfer into RECYCLE..then make the most excellent chops you've ever heard..save them and import them into fruity loops 4 then a monster is made..!
I recommend recycle to anybody that loves SAMPLING!..
If you work with loops you need Recycle. It can literally slice your loops precisely without even listening in the progress. You throw your loop at Recycle and by simply dragging a "sensitivity" slider, Recycle starts marking your loops in the transients, and don't worry about those whispers, you can also draw your own markers for slicing. When you feel happy with your slices, simply save it and "WALLA", now your loop is saved as a "REX" file. Reason is not the only software that can play Rex files, other DAW like Logic Pro and Pro-Tools are capable of playing them, althiugh there is nothing like playing them in Reason's Dr. Rex loop player.
This software is a must have if you intend to create your own loops in Reason. I personally dont use that many loops at all. From my experience this is a very easy piece of software to use. The view of the sound wave is very detailed and you can just see where to cut your loop. Very easy to use and a great tool.
