Not too soft, not too loud, Promark rods strike the perfect balance between regular drumsticks and brushes. Often duplicated by never equaled, Promark rods are meticulously designed and engineered by a talented team of drum experts at the company's Texas facility. From their exceptional feel to their top-notch consistency and durability, Promark rods are available in a wide range of styles to suit various playing styles and in this selection you'll come across plenty of top-selling pairs.

Promark rod sticks are known for producing a lively sound with terrific rebound. They're especially ideal for playing smaller-sized venues, but many percussionists also prefer them during home practice sessions when volume needs to be kept to a minimum. Here, Promark offers 4 different rod types: Cool, Hot, Lightning and Thunder, ranging from thinnest to thickest. They're each made with select birch dowels and one pair is not necessarily better than the other; the right set for you will ultimately boil down to your own personal tastes. Of course, the thinner the sticks are (Cool and Hot), the closer the sound is to brushes, while the thicker models (Lightning and Thunder) are more durable and have a sound that's similar to regular drumsticks.

Honestly, your best bet is to jump into each of your choices for a closer look - that way, you can be confident that the first choice you make is the right one. A great drummer is a versatile drummer, so it only makes sense for every percussionist to own a set of Promark rods. Since 1957, Promark has earned the respect of countless legendary drummers, including Ringo Starr of The Beatles, Neil Peart of Rush and Phil Collins of Genesis. And make no mistake - they put the same passion and dedication into the design of their rods as they do with all their percussion accessories.
