these work fine, secure my strap in place, fit my les paul wonderfuly and get the job done the right way. No regrets here. Also they are gold and normally gold ones cost more and it matches my les pauls gold hardware very well. Easy to install, risk free, easy to take strap off, looks good, is cheap, what more could you want?

Unfortunately, these are possibly one of the worst strap locks invented. They've ruined two of my guitars. the screw that they come with are extremely thin and fragile and bend and rip out of your guitar so easily causing damage that could easily be avoided. if your a musician who is actually gonna play your guitar. Id recommend the Dunlop strap locks. they come with a thicker screw and hold just as well as these. minus the ruining of your guitar. please heed my warning.

    Comments about ProLine Strap Lock:

Lasted two months, then bottom straplock basically flew apart in pieces trying to attach strap before going out to play a set at church. The spring disappeared and the pull button would not reattach to the screw. Useless after that.

    Excellent!

    By EDDIE MOWERY

    from Charlotte, NC

    Comments about ProLine Strap Lock:

I purchased these a few years ago, and they have held strong so far. I am very happy with these strap locks. I had gotten some of the Dunlop dual-design straploks, and after about 2 weeks the screw came out and stripped my guitar. I tried them on another guitar and got the same result with the Dunlops. For my Les Paul, I went with the Prolines and haven't looked back. My only minor issue is that the strap can be slow to take off/on since you have to pull up on the strap lock first to remove the strap. I can't speak for how they work with other guitars, but for my Gibson Les Paul, I couldn't be happier. I've played many shows over the past few years without any issues.

I like these, I like the Dunlops better. Better design. Just use alittle locktight when screwing the piece on your strap, and you good to go

    Comments about ProLine Strap Lock:

So I got these and they worked for the first month, but then today i was practicing guitar flips and bottom screw came straight out. Now I have to find a strap stud big enough to fill the hole.

    OK Strap Locks

    By Tyler

    from Winchester, CA

    Comments about ProLine Strap Lock:

These strap locks have had a tendency to slip off of my strat while I am playing. Thankfully, it has never happened live. Don't use these locks if you're guitar is worth more than a few hundred dollars, like a Custom Shop Fender or a Taylor for example. If you don't own strap locks, you'll be better off with these than nothing at all.

    Feels Cheap

    By Kaylin

    from Dayton, Ohio

    Comments about ProLine Strap Lock:

I bought these because this is what the rep at Guitar Center suggested. While they're doing their job, they keep getting loose. They feel cheap, and I dont feel secure with these strap locks.

If you want it to fall

    By Matt

    from Auburn WA

    Comments about ProLine Strap Lock:

My first gouge to the face was when the strap nut became loose and allowed the guitar to fall, on stage, after about 6 months. I felt it may not of been tight but no, I have to check it ever time I use it and tighten it as necessary and quite often I am afraid. The second problem is compound, the socket seat will rotate, nut is tight and yet the cup turns down, here then the pin seems to let go, not sure why, I can't make it do it when I try, it only random, when or just after ending I a song. I would stay away from this product. Last night during rehearsal I caught the guitar twice or thrice. I am buying a new donlop, the product I was looking for, as my first set is still functioning after 30 years of use, when I ended up with Proline lock.

    Looks are deceiving...

    By Zach

    from CT

    Comments about ProLine Strap Lock:

I got these thinking that they would work as well as the schalers but for about $10 less. Biggest mistake ever. The broke on me constantly during gigs. The ball you pull to unlock it came off, making it nearly impossible to get the strap and locks off my bass. The screws are cheap and bend very easily ( I have the fender aerodyne j bass which is pretty light and they bent). The screws also strip the body of your guitar. I had to refill both of the screw holes for the strap buttons with dowels. The black finish also starts scraping off after one use. The locks also don't stay on the strap and need to be constantly tightened. These have also failed in the middle of a gig (I'm not hard on my gear at all). These were just a waste of money. I would never recommend these. If you want locks that work, get schalers or a dimarzio clip lock strap. I have the dimarzio's and they have not had one single problem

    awesome locks!!

    By robby

    from oregon city, OR

    Comments about ProLine Strap Lock:

i have a set of these on ever guitar and bass i own and they haven't failed me yet!! make sure to keep the part that holds onto the strap tight though, almost had a mishap with my favorite bass because the bolt came loose and almost lost the strap but i noticed it before going on stage. now i just keep a small adjustable wrench in my case and tighten the locks before shows. also, if the screws don't hold securely or strip out the threads in the hole, put toothpicks in the hole and break them off flush with the body then install the locks in the toothpick filled hole and you will have a reliable hold that'l last a lifetime!!
