This mounting ring is the FLAT version, appropriate for a PRS or similar with a lower bridge (AKA item number GC300). The angled version (more appropriate on something like most Gibsons, with a higher bridge) is item number 106363443(AKA item number PL300). One is tall and the other is short. As far as mounting rings go, both are on the shorter side though. Feels like same plastic as other mounting rings, so no complaints there. Cream color was spot on with other new cream components. Comes with silver color screws and height springs. Note: this currently shows as item number 100240838, which appeas to be the same as previous item number 100240920. It looks like, even though the item number changed, this is still the flat version.
The pickup ring kit represents a very good value for the money, however it does not flex as much as the salesperson seemed to think it would. I need to find the correct kit. The pickup and mounting holes are the correct pattern(dimarzio pickups). One other minor gripe;the replacement screws for mounting the pickups are 1/4" shorter than the originals and the spring is substantially stiffer. What this means is the spring must be compressed to get the screw started which is no picnic!
