Overview

The Proline PL-AS adjustable amp stand is a rugged, all-steel stand designed to hold guitar amplifiers at the perfect height for stage use or in rehearsal or recording studios. A slight back-tilt aims your amp up toward your ears so that it can be heard clearly at lower volumes.

With 5 height settings from 16" to 24", the PL-AS amp stand also minimizes vibrations passed through wooden stages and floors, extending your amp's life. Cam-shaped leveling feet help to stabilize the ProLine amp stand on uneven floors and provide a non-slip grip.

Locking leg braces and safety pins for the upper supports give this amplifier stand the strength to safely hold up to 150lb. Finally, the upper amp supports have rubber pads to protect your amplifier's covering and to minimize vibrations.

When you're done, the entire amp stand breaks down into 3 pieces. The upper supports are hinged to collapse for easy transport. The ProLine PL-AS Adjustable Amp Stand's durable powder coat finish ensures that its looks stay good for years to come.

The Amp Stand was purchased as a gift (gift receiver had requested this item). The following review is a summary of his comments. The stand was the perfect size for his amp and the amount of room he had available. The improvement in the sound is incredible now that the amp is off the floor. The unit was easy to assemble and the quality met his expectations. I, as the giver, was pleased with the value of this item.

I purchased the stand before my amp was shipped, and the stand itself is just a fine piece of work, but the uprights are for a closed back amp, and my new GC Fender Mark IV amp has an open back and the stand cant support it, it wants to lean back and hit the inside speakers. I threw out the box, so now I cant return it to GC, and get a different model that is better able to accommodate my open back amp.

This is a good fit for Fishman Loudbox Artist

Comments about ProLine PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

I was previously using an On-Stage-Stands-Pro-Tiltback-Amp-Stand, which disappeared one night. It was solid, adjustable and clearly a better stand than this one. But it never really fit the Loudbox quite right. One of the amps feet was always off the bottom support so it was crooked and the uprights of the stand blocked the power cord and some outlets. This is a much better fit. I wish it was one piece (it breaks down into 3) but I'll get a bag and live with it. The Fishman is angled a little bit so the lack of angle adjustment doesn't bother me yet. The power chord is still blocked but, since the feet sit squarely on the bottom supports, its no problem to slide the amp forward 2". We'll see.

Easy to put together and really makes your amp easy to play with. No more bending over with my guitar falling away as I adjust tone and volumb. Love it

    Does the job

Comments about ProLine PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

I really can't write a too detailed review. I needed an amp stand to elevate my Vox AC30 for my recording studio, and this thing filled the bill from a price and design standpoint. It seems very solidly built and I have NO reservations about keeping my amp upon it at all times. As it is for a recording studio and will never be gigged (I think), I cannot speak for its' durability on that standpoint, but I wouldn't hesitate to bring it on the road with me. Again, it seems VERY solidly built.

    Does the job

Comments about ProLine PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

I got this because it's rated for 150 lbs., and my half-stack totals about 75. I would not put any more weight on it. It works fine, very easy to put together (no instruction provided, but none are needed, it's pretty obvious). I have no issues with the build quality unlike some other reviewers. It sure beats the box I had the stack up on.

    works for me

    By

    from Orange county CA

Comments about ProLine PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

Here's my use and take. I'm a bass player, I use it to get my Markbass 210 combo off the floor. Height is adjustable, tilt is not. Tilt doesn't bother me, it has about 2 degrees of tilt built in, which works perfect for me. I'm not measuring it, but it looks like the low height is about 2 foot, high adjustment is maybe 3 foot. Easy to assemble and set up, no tools required. Folds up for transport, or easy to break down to save even more space for transport. Pretty sturdy and stable. The only reason why this doesn't get 5 stars from me is because the build quality could be better. The vertical adjustment arms fit into another vertical piece and get set with a pin and and hand-bolt arrangement, which is super easy to set up and use, but my unit had a not quite right weld alignment for the bolt, meaning that instead of just sliding the piece in, I have to kind of pound on it to get it set up or broken down. Not that I have to use a hammer, just have to pound on it, one leg works perfect, the other needs a little pounding. I'm hard to please, so it loses a star because of this. Bottom line, I like it, it does everything I need, and thumbs up even with the minor quality issue. Good value for the dollars. And no matter what you play, bass, guitar, electronic keys, your going to really like getting your amp off the floor.

    Good Amp Stand

    By

    from Ohio

Comments about ProLine PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

This amp stand is simple and sturdy. The only draw back for me, and this will depend on your amp size, is I had to take the rubber "feet" off of the bottom of my amp so it would sit flush on the stand. Other than that no problems.

    Nice Stand

Comments about ProLine PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

This is a nice stand....not great. The padding needed re-glued right out of the box. There are no instructions or pictures of the stand, granred there are only a couple pieces. Great for the price I guess.

Just what I was looking for

    By

Comments about ProLine PL7000 Adjustable Amp Stand:

Most amp stands are angled back too far to the point where the amp is almost pointed at the ceiling, but this one has just a slight angle and the height can be adjusted nicely. I like having a little bit of the amp pointed into the room so you don't have to rely 100% on the sound man du jour to get your sound out in the audience (where it belongs). This baby fits the bill...5 stars.
