Meh... I'd buy the On-Stage KT7800+ if I were you

Comments about ProLine PL1250 Keyboard Bench With Memory Foam:

I recently bought 8 ProLine PL1250 benches to outfit a new music school and the memory foam is honestly pretty stiff. The same as a memory foam pillow or bed. It is not nearly as comfortable to sit on as the On-Stage KT7800+ which in turn is much softer to sit on. I'm sad that the Round Rock Guitar Center only stocks that ProLine bench. If I had time to order I would have ordered 8 of the On-Stage KT7800+. I own an On-Stage KT7800+ for over a year and a half in a teaching studio and that thing is still in perfect condition. Super comfy to sit in for hours and hours. If you are deciding between the ProLine PL1250 bench, definitely go with the OnStage KT7800+ and not just because it's cheaper. Also, if you are dealing with kids the OnStage KT7800+ goes almost an inch lower than the ProLine PL1250 at it's lowest setting. Most kids would require a foot stool if playing guitar and sitting on the ProLine PL1250. That aside, this bench is good and high quality enough. Road ready and what not. Hope this helps, Cheers!

Good but...

Comments about ProLine PL1250 Keyboard Bench With Memory Foam:

The bench would have been favored by us if we did not have to return it for what looked like a defect. The vinyl covering had split open but not at the seam. Possibly was cut by a knife...?

Not just for keyboardists

By

from Syracuse, New York

Comments about ProLine PL1250 Keyboard Bench With Memory Foam:

Our chamber music series purchased this bench because some of the musicians (violinists, cellists) playing in our series had requested an adjustable padded bench to use in their concerts. The first violinist of the Borromeo String Quartet used the bench at our first concert last Saturday and was very pleased with it.

It's a comfy chair. I prefer this over the typical hard piano bench.

Not just for keyboards

By

from Durand. Mi

Comments about ProLine PL1250 Keyboard Bench With Memory Foam:

My butt was taking real beating using one of the typical round stools while playing/practicing guitar. This bench is just a little large but I can practice as long as I want l. It folds up for travel and sets up and adjusts easily. It also has a 3 year warranty. Great investment.

Great For Keyboard

By

from Killeen, Texas

Comments about ProLine PL1250 Keyboard Bench With Memory Foam:

I bought this bench to go with my Yamaha P-155B piano, and it works great. Took a couple of times to get it adjusted to my preference. It has a good cushion and greatly helps your backside while sitting during a performance. I would recommend this bench!

Ok seat

By

from Cincinnati

Comments about ProLine PL1250 Keyboard Bench With Memory Foam:

I received this bench for christmas. I'd say about a year later the whole top leather portion was completely ripped off. The leather on these seats are terrible!!! I could rip it in two like a sheet of paper literally! Other than that the seat is still comfortable though . It just shows the black memory foam inside.

poor construcion

By

from south windsor ct.06074

Comments about ProLine PL1250 Keyboard Bench With Memory Foam:

The first seat we received had one of the pins that locks the legs was stripped. The next seat they sent for replacement the whole brace that holds the legs and is attached to the bottom of the seat is loose which means I am going to have to try and find a wrench that will tighten it or I will have to bring this bench back also.
