    i tried to use this set on an es-335. the set came with mounting screws too short to mount the bridge (standard gibson) pickup: i couldn't lower the bridge pickup enough to clear the strings. the neck pickup mounted barely low enough to work ok, but was still too high and close to the strings. the ring fit didn't work well on an archtop guitar. i guess the product's designed for flat tops only. what started as a solution ended up as a lot of problems, i found some old mounting screws and used the rings i already have. these rings are in the closet until further notice. all this proline stuff you need to be sure first it fits perfectly before you buy it. i also have a pickup cover from them that don't fit any of my gibson pickups at all.
