The Proline PL-AS adjustable amp stand is a rugged, all-steel stand designed to hold guitar amplifiers at the perfect height for stage use or in rehearsal or recording studios. A slight back-tilt aims your amp up toward your ears so that it can be heard clearly at lower volumes. With 5 height settings from 16" to 24", the PL-AS amp stand also minimizes vibrations passed through wooden stages and floors, extending your amp's life. Cam-shaped leveling feet help to stabilize the ProLine amp stand on uneven floors and provide a non-slip grip. Locking leg braces and safety pins for the upper supports give this amplifier stand the strength to safely hold up to 150lb. Finally, the upper amp supports have rubber pads to protect your amplifier's covering and to minimize vibrations.When you're done, the entire amp stand breaks down into 3 pieces.   • Amp Stand Hit the Mark

    The Amp Stand was purchased as a gift (gift receiver had requested this item). The following review is a summary of his comments. The stand was the perfect size for his amp and the amount of room he had available. The improvement in the sound is incredible now that the amp is off the floor. The unit was easy to assemble and the quality met his expectations. I, as the giver, was pleased with the value of this item.

  • Well Worth It

    I was the lucky recipient of this stand last Christmas. At the time, I had a VOX AD50VT 'Hybrid' amp, which is a fairly hefty amp at 50 lbs. Since then, I have upgraded to a VOX AC15 CC amp (also kind of hefty) and it fits the stand perfectly. More importantly, I can say to an absolute certainty that the difference between having the amp on the floor and having it on the stand is incredible - trust me when I tell you that it makes a HUGE difference in what I can only describe as "volumetric output." What was previously either bouncing around on a hard surface or being soaked up on a carpeted surface is now crystal clear and has actually allowed me to hear things more clearly. Construction is solid, assembly is easy and the stand also allows angle adjustments. It collapses quite readily to take up less space when transporting your gear, which is also a nice feature.

  • Dont buy for an open back amp

    I purchased the stand before my amp was shipped, and the stand itself is just a fine piece of work, but the uprights are for a closed back amp, and my new GC Fender Mark IV amp has an open back and the stand cant support it, it wants to lean back and hit the inside speakers. I threw out the box, so now I cant return it to GC, and get a different model that is better able to accommodate my open back amp.
