Drummer Simon Phillips chose as his Pro-Mark Autograph Series Drumstick the hickory 707 wood tip. An incredibly powerful performer, Simon has played with Stanley Clarke, Jack Bruce, Al DiMeola, Pete Townshend, The Who, and Toto among others.
I have many pairs of drum sticks,brands ranging from Zildjian to Vater,and these are the best out of all of them.I love the size of these,all my other sticks are baseball bat sized.They have not split or broken in half,unlike my Vater's which split after a few sessions. I HIGHLY recommend thse sticks
