The Blake Tyson Autograph line consists of five models ranging from soft to hard. These mallets feature synthetic cores with an outter layer of rubber around which a 100% wool yarn is wrapped. The unusual shape of the mallet gives the player much more control over the sound being produced. These mallets are tailored more to the solo marimbist due to their unique wrapping style. The birch handles have a rounded butt end for added comfort and a Natural finish.
