This fuzzy rat is loaded with edgy distortion.

The TurboRAT expands the versatility and sustain of the unique rat tone, and its maximum output of 2.8V is more than double that of the Turbo's predecessors. Features a nearly indestructible steel housing with "no tools" battery compartment. Built for trouble-free reliability on the road. An LED indicates on/off status, and luminescent control graphics enhance visibility. Powered by 9V battery, or a special jack accommodates the RPS-1 power supply (sold separately).

Rat Tat Tat!

I bought this because I read that Jeff Beck used one. I couldn't believe how good it made my Strat sound. This is a good substitute for a Fuzz Box also. When I run through this and kick on my Blues Driver or Marshall Gov'nor II. I get a serious Trower/Hendrix/Frank Marino sound! I love it!

Nice...

I see this pedal as a cross between a Tube Screamer and as Boss DS-1. In fact, I once AB-d it vs. a DS-1, and I could get it to sound almost identical to the Boss, with the added advatage of being able to get many more types of sounds out of it. Plus it's built like a tank, and I think it's true bypass. If I could only have a few OD/Distortion pedals, this would be one of them.
